The Religare rep came canvassing yesterday. The picture was all rosy
You get interest of 3.5% (PA of course) on the balance with them.
The brokerage is .25% and .025% each leg for an adjustible deposit of Rs 2500; and lesser for bigger deposits.
exe based charting with the Pro, ODIN with Lite; The demo was real-time and fast, but the intraday charting was only Line (no OHLC or Candlestick); pl correct me if they offer it for intraday, as neither the rep nor his boss were able to confirm it.

Two Qns

1) Has anyone had any problems with Religare?

2) Is it true that IL&FS offers 0.02% single leg brokerage? If so the details please.

what do you mean by deposit? will it be refunded or is it plan charges? I am thinking of switching broker too. Here is a thread you might find useful.

I have pasted some links to PIB, TT and TTAdvance. I don't have link for a demo of ODIN. Can you provide one if you have?

Hi
The Rs 2500 is adjusted against the brokerage. That means that at 0.25% delivery brokerage, you will exhaust it with a Rs 10 lakh volume.
Sorry I do not have any link for ODIN. Am sure our more experienced members can help.

if you are in for part time, you can pick any one with your eyes closed. coz, they all sucks.. one way or another............

if you are seriously in to it, then you have to do lot of comparisons, and pick one according to your intended trading style.

adios!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the brokerage the same everywhere or did you bargain for lower brokerage? You also get charting with it right?

Hi again,
There are two different things; one is a trading account/ platform (web based or exe) - that is 999 per annum for one with charting and 499 for one without, and the other thing is the different brokerage plans you can link with these trading accounts, mainly depending on the amount of "advance brokerage" you will deposit with them.
