btw the above AFL is a price AFL so can be put as the 1st AFL in the pane for price

was there any specific reason for not taking trade , marked in yellow circle.

I was already short at that time from earlier. my SL would have been break of that red +1SD line. when it came down again and took support at -1SD I had booked. re-entered there

Also it was a BO failure in afternoon after a morning of sideways. This is also a good reason to take that 2nd trade

this is generic version of AMA AFL. by default it will show for the chart TF.

in param usetf = YES and tf = 1440 to get daily band for swing

tf = 15min for intraday

colors of band and MAs you can change suitably so that you can differentate which is intra and which swing :)

I take partial profit and also take exit on 5min ama if the two bands are far apart as then the pb could be deep.

else on the low of the band for longs which would be SAR

Why not to start a new thread, "Pratap's Intraday AMA Method" with AFL, proper entry, exit & position sizing rules in place.

Most of the things are here in posts and you have understood well than me, I will need some more time ... :thumb:

And,Sir,where is the entry/exit point.no logic explained in AFL coding.I missed your post somewhere:(

should we have same TF as in parameters settings or set according to our convenience.

Let some other one try to start thread I have poor knowledge.I think "wisp" started that not sure.
