Hi Taz,

I have never taken pivot points seriously as I prefer to read the candle stick charts. However reading your posts I feel ignoring pivot points may not be wise. Any thing that improves trading is welcome. Would this theorem also apply for equity markets? If so could you advise how do you draw the zones?

Tks in advance

Pivot Zones

Hello Smart Trader,
Price action is universal thing, can apply to futures, options, forex and of course the classical equity Markets.
But of couse options market has it's own deep ends.
Well there is nothing to drawing the pivot zones.
Just choose the rectangle tool in MT4 or your platform and drag the rectangle so it can contain all high's and lows in that region.
Most of all pay attention to round Numbers like 35,45 in stocks and 1.4000,1.2500 in forex.
If you have any charts you can draw pivot zones on them, and i can see and tell if they are correct, post them here.

Remember the only thing Stock markets have special is volume,Never trade thinly traded stock they must have 2-5 Million shares per day turn over.
the Share's must be having a value of 100-150 etc for above so no one person can influence price.
Because: 2000000 X 100 =2,00,00,00,00 Rs,who has that money to buy and move market in his favor, you get the idea.
Let me explain my four patterns,i used and their volume implications so they may become useful in other markets.

Tweezer Tops must have heavy volume in both bars, first the falling bar and then rising bar.
----do---- for tweezer bottoms just reverse characteristics, same volume stats.
Bullish Engulfing bars/Outside bars heavy volume on these bars
and bearish ones the opposite configuration same volume stats.
Pin bars must have a huge volume as compared to prior ones.

Post your charts here,i don't care even if they are stock charts,Price action remains the same.
Now my Pivot Zones Chart for you ,is as below.Remember they are zones not exact lines, draw the round number first then see the zone will fit around it.

Eur/Usd 1.3400 break.

Hello all,
As i said the 1.3400 level is strong level,it would be folly to expect the price to break it on a dime,so i expected consolidation below 1.3400 for a short period before breakout,so far the 4 hour chart bounces between 1.3400 and 1.3300.
Look for double bottoms/consolidations forming on hourly chart, you will see the breakout above 1.3400 later.

Inside Bars.

Inside Bars:
Inside bars are again one of the bars, that are precursors of reversals or breakouts.
The first bar known as mother bar is a big bar with great strength on the part of dominant trend pushers.
The Inside bars is a minute bar as compared to inside bars,it shows complete lack of strength.
The implication is that the strong sellers or buyers reach a point of weakness, they consolidate to rest and gain strength, before breaking back again.

Never Play them without Practice they are risky, even the most experienced people stay off them.
I don't play them often but they are good worthwhile trades.

Inside Bars will break in the dominant trend direction.
But they may act as reversal also.
Look at the picture i have posted and see the big breakout candle after inside bar breakout.

Price Action.

Use Cautiously.
Price Action is great tool but has it's deep ends, you don't get all basics cleared you land yourself into trouble.

Gold Trade

Hey Guys,
I was just having some fun demoing the trades,i took a gold trade,on demo same on live account.
I did break-even the very first point, right after take off.
Now i am in a risk free trade, and gold market is constantly moving up so i am going to hit a home run on this.
Look at the chart.
I will trail my stop as price goes up,if it goes down,i have already break-even.
This chart is an answer to those who say there is no zero risk great reward trade.
Look at this
