Varun industries seems to be a good bet. Being a fixed price issue, it is not only priced low but also 50% shares are offered to retail investors rather than 35% as is the case of book building issues. With so many big issues nearby, people wont be going for such small issues as it happened with spvcl (though issue was not good also). Thats another reason which increases chances of getting allotment. But if one applies for Rs 60-70k and the issue is not highly over subscribed, then one would certainly end up with Rs 60-70k worth of Varun industries which certainly is not a good idea since in that case everybody will be selling on the day of listing which in turn may cause the stock to list below Rs 60.
My question is: how much should one put in this issue to get 2-3 lots.
