I intend to experience it tomorrow.
same here - will try tomorrow early morning or around 2pm to avoid rush hour.
BTW, July 5th (Sunday) is the last "no-toll" day.
The bridge is still incomplete - it's supposed to be a two carriageway with 4 lanes on each (thus, 4 lanes each for up & down). But the govt. wanted to "please" the people before the state elections, and hence, only one carriageway, with 4 lanes, has been opened. Thus, only 2 lanes each for up & down.
If you are coming from Bandra side, avoid venturing into Worli bylanes - take a U turn and come back to Bandra on the same sea-link.
And now they are arguing about the name of the sea-link.
Public money is spent on this bridge, and the politicians want to give the name of their leader to this sea-link, as if it's their property.
Can't we simply call it the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
Imagine, anyone coming to Bombay and he's told about "Rajiv Gandhi Setu"!!!
Most of Bombay's imp. public places are already named in the honour of Shivaji Maharaj and now, they want to politicise on this...
welcome to Worli exit point:
