16th sep status did not get saved
On
16th Sep I made a loss of 900rs on voltas .
I bought it at 385 and sold at 382
It reached my target but did not get sold because of the q and went down even before i decided and put a stop loss
17th Sep
I saw voltas goin up and bought it at 381.10 on market rate , saw it going down and sold it 382 Market rate
381.10 became
381.1300 and 382 became
381.9200 Taxes and Other Charges is 23 so i get
78 - 23 = 54
Later it was stuglling at 383
next i saw it was 386
next at 2:30
There was RALLY and it reached
393
I checked my previous posts and i got to know
SAME SCENARIO happened on Thursday 15th sep and on 16th i made loss as mentiond above
So i have to be careful if in trade in volatas tomorow
Some where i knew
JI WILL GO UP 1 POINT but i did not have the patience to wait for 4 hours and it went
2 points up
All this is fine considering i am learing and even though i know what to do i am not able to do becuase i dont have patience
TODAY'S LESSON IS PATIENCE AND STOPLOSS STOPLOSS STOPLOSS which i dont seem to put becuase i want to see profit in less than 10 mins
If i had not sold it on Friday i could have avoid loss of 900 as there was a rally today ...
Assumptions for tomorrow
1> voltas will go down or side ways if the market is normal and will rally if nifty over all goes up....need to explore going short as everytime going long wont work
2> JI no idea
3> fb is a new addition but i had liked it before too and the news seems to be positive and banks are volatile from past 3 weeks as far as i noticed
I might go and take 100 shares each of voltas , JI AND FB tomorrow by putting stop loss , my assuption is that if i loose i might loose max 300rs but there is no limit on how much i might make ....If all 3 rally i might make 900rs
there can be 4 combinations so its 50 50 , if i dont make consecutive Losses my profits will be
bigger
111 - big profit
110 - small profit
100 - small loss
000 - big loss
I noticed when nifty is down , all shares more or less behave in the same manner , so i have learn going short
