Long term investment perspective...

Hi All,

I am looking for investing in equity on a long term perspective. Say, like equity for another 5 to 10 yrs. I know, we need to keep watch on the market and companies health. Could you guys recommend on such stocks..?..

Note: I have already invested on Equity,MF, FD, Bonds, Gold, Relstate..etc.. i need a portion of my Equity on long term perspective.

Equity is an asset class with risk, no matter however best the company is.

Still you can consider investing in blue chip stocks, which generally gives a good return over a long periods of time, compared any other asset class

Reply is same as the previous post. There is no guaranteed return in Equity Mkt.

4th quarter results are coming out. u can watch for the companies which are performing well continuously during the past 4 or 5 quarters; with a good eps; with a minimum p/e ratio and with a good book value. if dividend record is also good, it is another plus point. such shares can be bought for long term investment
