Hi All,

i would like to know softwares which are used to trade in Indian Stock exchanges. couple i know are ODIN, NEAT may be Orion... i want softwares which are used to trade in the market and not for analysis [ like metastock etc ]. also let me know contact details [ like website, phone, email ] of the software providers.

any information on above is highly appreciated.

Hi dou,
I've been using TT5 from 5paisa.com. It is a trading s/w with a few indicators like smas, emas, rsi, roc, stoch, bol bands. You can view line, bar and candle stick charts. The 2 shortcomings in my opinion are:-
1. The limited battery of indicator
2. It's not possible to view previous intraday charts to get a trading perspective at the beginning of the trading day.

5paisa TT5 does. I don't know about the others.

Each and every one of the software I mentioned above will allow you to view live streaming tick by tick data in multiple formats(line, OHLC bars, candlestick etc.. ). If you choose; to view it in the time frame you like (1, 3, 5 min etc). There are a host of indicators you can put as studies and these are updated realtime as per the data coming in.
These are software for day trading as well as very very low cost delivery based trading. You would be able to exploit ~ Re.1 gaps for 3 figure shares very easily at a profit. I'd suggest you look up the respective websites I gave above and you'll know far more.

Incidentally I use one of these myself. I don't want you to have a biased opinion so I included all those software with which I came in contact and have had the chance to use personally.
