I am new guy in the world of Investment.
I am doing study and found one confusing fact. May be experts will help me in understanding it.
As per my understanding, EPS (TTM) is EPS of trailing twelve months.
It means if I add EPS of last four quarters I should get EPS (TTM)
So from Tata Steel quarterly reports I tried to get EPS for last 4 quarters for current date (07/12/12) [Diluted EPS for conolidated]
The data collected is as follows
EPS for quareter eneded on 31-12-2011= -6.76
EPS for quareter eneded on 31-03-2012= 4.02
EPS for quareter eneded on 31-06-2012=5.69
EPS for quareter eneded on 30-09-2012=-4.21
So EPS TTM comes to -1.26
But when I checked MoneyControl and Economic Times the EPS TTM is listed as 58.58

Whats wrong in my calculation?
