becuase, now a days. all brokers ask customer to sign power of attorney... once you sign the POA. broker has full rights for Demat and bank account. due to this reason most of people suggesting reputed bank for demat service for long term investor.

As I never think/said, that SBI caps company and its employee are not good. but for peace of mind and for long term investment. I would prefer to open demat account in Govt organization and without sign POA.
